xTracker Privacy Policy
Last updated
xTracker is designed as a private, local-first tracker for extremely sensitive personal information. Your intimate data belongs only to you.
We built xTracker with a simple principle: we do not sell data, we do not run ads, and we do not profile users. We do not monetize personal information. Ever.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Local content you enter (stored on your device)
By default, xTracker stores the personal and intimate information you enter (such as activity logs, notes, partner names, preferences, reminders, and calendar data) locally on your device. If you use the app without creating an account, this data does not leave your device.
Optional account and cloud backup data
If you choose to enable optional cloud backup, multi-device sync, or shared/group calendars, you will be asked to create an account. You may choose any display name; providing real identity information is not required.
Minimal technical data for stability (Crashlytics)
To maintain stability and reliability, we use Firebase Crashlytics to collect limited technical diagnostics such as device model, OS version, app version, and crash logs. Crash reports are used only to fix bugs and improve stability.
Crash reports never include your activity logs, notes, partner names, or any intimate data stored in the app.
2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We do not use your data for targeted advertising, marketing profiling, or cross-app tracking.
3. WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?
We share data only in the limited situations below. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
Important: xTracker does not include advertising SDKs and does not allow third-party tracking technologies for advertising. We do not obtain personal data from external sources such as public databases or marketing partners.
4. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
Local data is stored on your device until you delete it or remove the app. If you enable cloud backup, we retain your backups only as long as needed to provide backup/sync services and until you delete your backups or account.
5. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted network connections, secure server storage (when backup is enabled), and restricted internal access. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
6. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
xTracker is intended for adults and is not designed for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 18.
7. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain account-related personal information.
You may permanently delete your account and associated data at any time directly from within the app by going to:
Profile → Accounts → “I want to erase all my data”.
This action will remove your account data from our systems and delete any cloud backups associated with your account (if cloud backup was enabled).
Note: most intimate content is stored locally on your device by default. If you do not enable backup/sync, we do not have access to that content.
8. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under applicable laws (including CCPA/CPRA) regarding access to and deletion of certain personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us using the details in the “Contact” section.
9. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS POLICY?
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect product or legal changes. The “Last updated” date indicates the most recent revision.
10. HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS POLICY?
